The <ul> tag

<ul> creates an unordered (bulleted) list. The order of items carries no meaning.

Syntax

<ul>
  <li>Item 1</li>
  <li>Item 2</li>
</ul>

Example

<ul>
  <li>HTML</li>
  <li>CSS</li>
  <li>JavaScript</li>
</ul>

Notes

  • The direct children of ul should only be li (plus optionally script/template).
  • Bullet markers are styled via CSS list-style, not HTML attributes.
